Devoting Time and Energy to Their Community in a Meaningful Way

athen planning committee The Athena International Award and it’s Planning Committee are joint partnership programs with the Crestview Area Chamber, Panama City Beaches Chamber and Ft. Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. Committee members work to plan the Athena International Award Program for Northwest Florida, which is an international award that is presented annually by chambers of commerce, women’s organizations and universities worldwide. The Athena Award honors female individuals who strive toward the highest levels of:

professional accomplishment
women who excel in their own chosen field,
have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way
who also open paths so that others may follow.

Nominations are solicited in the community and an ATHENA sculpture is awarded at an annual Athena Awards Dinner in September of each year, to an individual in the community who meets the specific criteria.
