Getting There

Flying in

Most flights come into the Florida Panhandle via Atlanta and then a connection flight will take air travelers to either the Okaloosa Regional Airport (VPS), Panama City-Bay County International Airport or the Pensacola International Airport. Delta, USAir Express and Northwest Airlink service the Panama City-Bay County International Airport. Delta, Northwest, Air Tran and American service the Okaloosa Air Terminal in Fort Walton Beach. Private airports are also found in DeFuniak Springs and Destin.

After arriving at the airport travelers will need to make arrangements for a rental car, limousine service, shuttle or cab service to get to their Walton County Destination. Please reference the business directory for Chamber members who provide airport transportation services.

A beautiful drive

Interstate I-10 is the East/West access to the Walton Area. Simply turn off at the DeFuniak Springs Exit and then take U.S. Highway 331 South to get to Santa Rosa Beach and the Walton Area. U.S. Highway 98 runs East/West through the south end of the Bay, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
